01Hospitality spaces considered
A restaurant review can include street or lobby entrance, reception or waiting, dining zones, cashier, kitchen sections, wash and preparation areas, dry and cold storage, staff movement, toilets, delivery access and waste route. A café, cloud kitchen, hotel restaurant and banquet venue have different flows, so the enquiry should describe the actual service model, seating capacity and relationship between customers, food and staff.
02Operational details to share
Prepare the premises dimensions, confirmed north, road and door positions, kitchen equipment list, fuel type, exhaust path, water and drainage points, customer seating plan and delivery access. Mention whether the venue is being selected, designed, renovated or already trading. Fixed shafts, fire exits, grease systems and landlord services should be clearly marked because they may limit changes and must remain compliant with professional requirements.
03Plans and photos for hospitality review
Upload a full floor plan that distinguishes dining, kitchen, stores, service corridors and utilities. Equipment and furniture plans are useful when readable. Photos of entrances, kitchen access or a difficult circulation point may add context, but food-safety and employee privacy rules should be respected. Do not include customer images or licences in the public upload. The team can request a more detailed drawing through an approved channel when necessary.
04How the restaurant plan is reviewed
The consultation starts with access and orientation before following the customer and service journeys separately. It then examines the relationship among reception, seating, billing, food preparation, cooking, washing, storage and waste movement. Observations can be grouped for lease selection, design development or an existing operation. Final decisions must satisfy the kitchen consultant, architect, fire officer, health regulations, accessibility rules and local licensing authorities.
05Remote hospitality consultation
Owners, chefs and designers may join an online video appointment to explain the proposed operation while viewing the plan. A concise agenda helps when several stakeholders are involved. Phone and WhatsApp can support confirmation and smaller follow-ups. Remote consultation is available for venues in Tamil Nadu, India and abroad, but it cannot inspect hygiene, equipment condition or statutory compliance through a drawing alone.
06When a restaurant site visit is relevant
A visit may be requested for a complex existing kitchen, split-level venue, conversion project or layout that differs materially from the plan. The client must arrange authorised access outside unsafe or restricted operating periods and identify applicable hygiene requirements. Scope and availability are confirmed separately. The visit is observational from a Vastu perspective and is not a fire, food-safety, structural or mechanical inspection.
07Related hospitality and business reviews
Retail counters can also draw on Shop Vastu guidance, hotel administrative areas may need Office Vastu review and large banquet storage may raise Warehouse Vastu questions. Describe the complete premises so overlapping functions are not missed. Opening-date or inauguration timing can be requested separately through Muhurtham consultation after licensing, construction and vendor schedules establish a realistic date range.
08Preparing the operating team
Ask the chef or kitchen planner to confirm the cooking sequence, service route, equipment clearances and cleaning flow before the appointment. The front-of-house lead can explain waiting, seating and billing. Bringing both views prevents guest areas from being discussed without the operational reality behind them and makes it easier to identify which questions belong to Vastu and which belong to hospitality design.
09Serving hospitality clients

Only the Adambakkam consultation office is presented as a physical practice location.
